Terms of use
These terms cover this website and, where an engagement letter is signed, the application-audit work described on it. Last updated 12 August 2026.
Who we are
Kernel Portal Hub operates from 728, Bangunan Mula Jaya, Jalan Methodist, 96400 Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. Telephone +60 84-871273. Email briefings@kernelportal-hub.digital. In these terms, “we” means that practice.
This website
The site describes independent reviews of how employers collect, screen, store, and close job applications. It is information, not a public offer to contract. Pages may change. Fees are not charged through the site, and there is no checkout.
You may browse, print a page for your own files, and send a briefing request. You may not scrape the site in a way that burdens the host, copy our letters or method pages into a competing product, or present our name as an endorsement of your hiring process.
Briefing requests
A form submission or telephone call is a request for a conversation. It does not create an audit engagement. We may decline work that we cannot staff, that sits outside application files, or that would require us to shortlist candidates.
Engagement letters
Paid work starts only when both sides have signed a scope letter naming the sample window, access, fee, and timetable. That letter prevails over marketing copy on this site if the two differ. We do not provide legal advice, recruitment services, or software implementation under these terms.
Your materials
You warrant that you have the authority to show us the application packs in the sample. You remain the controller of candidate personal data. We act as a limited processor for the purpose of the review, as set out in the privacy notice and the engagement letter.
Findings
Letters describe the sample we were shown. They are not a warranty that other vacancies are clean, and they are not for publication as a certificate. You may share a letter with your counsel, board, or a regulator that has asked for it. You may not edit findings and still attribute them to us.
Liability
To the extent Malaysian law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost hires, or decisions you take after reading a letter. Our aggregate liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except in cases of fraud or personal injury where the law does not permit a limit. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Malaysia.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Sarawak shall hear disputes that cannot be resolved by discussion, unless an engagement letter names a different forum.
